we've been working together

in that partnership between

Pollination, MG Corporation,

Ballangara Corporation and

the Kimberley Land Council

for about 12 months now.

And working through the

scoping and now feasibility

{{00:01:30}}
phases of a large scale solar

{{00:01:33}}
farm, hydrogen production.

ammonia production and export

{{00:01:38}}
project in the East Kimberley

around Kununurra and Wyndham.

So the project's going

{{00:01:44}}
to utilise the fantastic

{{00:01:46}}
solar production available

{{00:01:48}}
in the East Kimberley.

{{00:01:49}}
We're going to combine that

{{00:01:50}}
with the existing hydropower

{{00:01:52}}
that is available on Lake

{{00:01:55}}
Argyle  and utilise that for

{{00:01:58}}
the large scale production

{{00:02:00}}
of hydrogen and ammonia.

So it'll be about 1,000

{{00:02:04}}
megawatts of solar.

{{00:02:06}}
About 850 megawatts of

{{00:02:08}}
electrolysis producing

{{00:02:11}}
somewhere around 50,000

{{00:02:13}}
tons of hydrogen per annum.

And we're going to

{{00:02:16}}
transport that hydrogen

{{00:02:17}}
to Wyndham in a pipeline

to produce around 250,000

tons of ammonia per year.

in that we are  having the

project development vehicle

being majority owned by

allows a co design and co

decision making process at

the project that affects

the long term engagement and

structuring of the project

for the traditional owners.

We are in this phase designing

all the physical layout

of the project and all the

{{00:02:56}}
commercial architecture of

the project in a way that is

done with their involvement

and agreement as shareholders,

not just as stakeholders.

Obviously there's a broader

{{00:03:08}}
community, both  in the

{{00:03:10}}
region and across the state.

And  we're moving into

the project now, which

will start to include the

But, most importantly, we're

And it's important that

as we seek to decarbonize.

As the food chain for the

world food production, we can

source  renewably produced

green ammonia for fertilizer.

that is going to have a

very significant impact for

the East Kimberley region

{{00:03:45}}
because  as a region that

{{00:03:48}}
has, you know, abundant

{{00:03:49}}
solar energy, the hydropower,

{{00:03:51}}
existing ports, and a lot

{{00:03:52}}
of fresh water, integrating

{{00:03:54}}
those into a green ammonia

{{00:03:56}}
project for fertilizer

{{00:03:58}}
production is a really...

{{00:04:00}}
exciting and new

{{00:04:01}}
opportunity for the region.

we will be exporting that

{{00:04:05}}
ammonia to probably countries

{{00:04:08}}
to the north of Australia, in

{{00:04:09}}
Singapore, Japan, Korea, and

{{00:04:13}}
potentially to Europe as well.

But we are doing that most

{{00:04:19}}
importantly sourced from the

{{00:04:21}}
community and the region which

{{00:04:24}}
has this fantastic comparative

{{00:04:26}}
and competitive advantages

{{00:04:27}}
in the East Kimberley.

Yeah, so we've got a, you

know, very strong view as an

{{00:04:30}}
impact investor at PoliNation

that energy transition

that's not just is, you know,

just not going to be  fast

enough and not done in the

{{00:04:41}}
right way to decarbonise the

{{00:04:43}}
world's economies quickly

enough and to be bringing

{{00:04:46}}
First Nations groups with us.

Hence the creation of a

model like the Aboriginal

{{00:04:51}}
Clean Energy Partnership.

It is what we believe is

{{00:04:54}}
needed to enable Australia

{{00:04:56}}
to produce enough renewable

{{00:04:57}}
energy quickly enough to

{{00:04:59}}
decarbonise our own economy

and also to be producing

enough product for our

{{00:05:03}}
neighbours to be decarbonising

their, their economies.

We of course have got to

go through a whole range of

feasibility and development

{{00:05:13}}
work now with the project

to ensure environmental

compliance and other

approval processes  are

appropriately completed.

And they are, you know, very

{{00:05:22}}
significant pieces of work

that we're undertaking now

and over the coming years.

And  the challenges for

a project of this scale,

you know, are always,

you know, very  complex

and multidimensional.

But we believe we've got

a team, really strong team

pollination which brings

development experience and

expertise and connections

to capital, along with
